The transfer of Emmanuel Adebayor from Arsenal to Manchester City is now official. The fee is thought to be around £25 million. I'm not going to say anything anymore about Adebayor because I think everyone has heard too much about it this summer, and to be frank, I'm a bit sick of thinking about him.
I will say that at times he was skilful and showed tremendous talent, however his work ethos and attitude last year was unacceptable. His transfer could be beneficiary to the club as long as we spend the ca. £25 million. There have been replacements up front touted, but as I've said many times, the need for a dominating central midfielder must be paramount.
Right, hopefully that's the last time I will ever talk about Emmanuel Adebayor.
